It appears to be unavoidable. Every time I work on a new painting, I reach a stage where I think all is ruined. The Siofra paintint hit this critical stage right after I'd started layering on the colours. I spent a horrid 1/2 hour with all the usual thoughts going through my mind: It's ruined! Why did you have to experiment! Never experiment! How could you be so stupid! That's 10 hours of work down the drain!

Then I realized that the colours probably weren't strong enough and that nothing was ruined...yet.

Luckily the my writing doesn't quite reach this stage, although I do get bouts of: This is not working, what were you thinking? You call this a plot?

Caught up with some reviewing and writing yesterday while C was snoozing on the couch. Did another two reviews today, but still have a few items on my review list.

Felix has found a moth in the kitchen, keeps on running in here to get me to join the hunt. It's very sweet of him to want to share the experience, but also a bit worrying that it's taking him so long to catch one little insect. Fisen is of course not bothered by such trivialities such a moths...and baths. If he was any more laid back he'd be sleeping...oh wait. He IS sleeping.
