(no subject)

I got up early. Already did lot of work and it's only 10:30! I think, I might have finished my painting. However, I have a tendency of stopping to soon and not making enough contrast. I'll have C look at it tonight and see what he thinks.

In any case, this means that until C comes home, whatever spare time I have can be used on my second painting project or writing. I've just comitted myself in the Epilogue forums to finish a picture in just 4 weeks. Need to work on the shop as well, though, so there might not be time after all.

We went to town last night. I was starving and for the first time ever I managed to eat a whole Olma Bratwurst (greasy sausage). The bread was hard as stone as usual and almost inedible (ate only half of that) and the sausage was completely charred at one end. Not an entirely enjoyable experience, but as my aunt likes to say: "Beggars can't be choosers." So yesterday was definitely unhealthy.

Didn't get the chance to paint. Lots of work with the shop, C came home early, drove me to the post-office, then started to cook dinner and now I think he's doing the dishes. :)

He also announced that my painting was finished. So tomorrow I'll try to take a good picture of it and E-mail it. I changed some stuff from the original photograph, so I hope she'll like it.

C had an idea for a painting, so if he decides to paint tonight, I can join him.
