Mar. 24th, 2005 04:01 pmYesterday was very stressful. It was one of those days where tasks just kept popping up. Phone was ringing, people were at the door and E-mails filled my inbox. Most of these issues had to be dealt with in German, which didn't make it easier.
The good part of it was that the beads arrived - and they look great! The bad part was that after putting 10 boxes in the garage (the truck driver helped with 6 out of 16) and carrying two boxes up to the 3rd floor my shoulders are killing me. C has forbidden me to lift any more boxes, he wants to take the remaining 12 up by himself. That would be okay, except he has had a stiff neck since Sunday and hauling boxes isn't going to do him any good.
Today I've been taking it easy. Done only the most necessary work regarding the shop and otherwise housework and drawing. Am halfway done with a female drow that I started this morning; chalk pastel and pencils. I am thinking of expanding my future art commission section with portraits for RPGs and I am hoping it will also attract the attention of authors wanting to see their characters on paper. This is still way in the future, though. I am determined to have at least 4 pictures in each of my galleries before I go officially online, and it'll take some time before I have that many.
