Went to see Hitchhiker's with C yesterday. He fell asleep during the first half and for once I didn't wake him up because, frankly, not even I needed to be awake for that. The lights during the break woke him up again and we watched the second half together, which was much better than the first half - although it couldn't compare to the book. Conclusion: If you're a fan, you should probably go see it. If you have no clue about what the Hitchhiker's all about, then I suggest you save your money for another day.

My Epson arrived today! It's fairly large, but luckily not too heavy. Postman hauled it up the first flight of stairs, I hauled it up the remaining two. There will be much unpacking and installing later on today, but until now I've spent the time with laundry and shop-related work.

I started the Strunk and White - the first actual page of the book, actually had me baffled. I'm not sure whether to go through my entire manuscript to correct or not. It just looks wrong. *frowns*

My latest received reviews have really shown me how clueless I was writing the first draft. Certainly the "every scene must be valid as in furthering either plot or character" and "Push each scene to its maximum tension" weren't part of my knowledge database at that point. This means....yes....rewrites. *waves to Holly*

The lillies I planted weeks ago are still not coming up. They must be dead.

C and I went to look for glasses Thursday. It was very difficult finding a pair. Finally we settled on, not the coolest pair, but the one that suited me the best, as in it make my head look like a watermelon. While trying on glasses I noticed a very unattractive double chin, which didn't help the watermelon appearance at all. *must loose weight*
