Oct. 3rd, 2005 10:45 amThe problem of living in another time zone from the majority of my lj-friends is that I'm asleep when all the fun starts. Loved reading the story openings! Very impressive! Made me wish I had them all as finished novels lined up in my book shelf. Who knows? Maybe one day I will! And...of course now I must jump off the cliff with everyone else:
The Dar Caldrin Hunt: Lochar pushed back the worn shutter to let in a gust of salty air.
The Mage King: “Why have you come?”
Mind, Body and Soul: Louis Wallace looked like a sausage.
Elpida: With the tip of his finger, Jonathan Shingler pushed his notebook back and forth before finally arranging the black leather binding so that it rested perpendicular to the edge of the table
Arvingen: Første gang Bue så Grå Ege, var det så koldt, at rimfrosten dækkede landskabet med funklende hvide krystaller. (The first time Bue saw Grey Oaks, it was so cold that the hoar frost covered the landscape with sparkling white crystals.)
The Inquisitor: I was sixteen, when I killed my lover.
