Nov. 2nd, 2005 11:59 amI am clumsy to the point of ridiculousness. Yesterday before injecting I dropped the syringe + needle. Luckily*, it landed on my left hand and pierced through the outer part of my thumb, right below the first joint. That didn't hurt - the swelling afterward did.
We closed the bedroom door again last night. Jonesy had been whining while I did my injection and quickly came running into the bedroom when I opened the door to go wash my hands. So fuss was expected kitten's first night "alone" - none happened. Not a squeak, not a creak.
Am active today:
Filled dish-washer
Did one batch of laundry
Answered E-mails
Placed an order
Took reference photos for commission
Still need to:
Pack orders
Go to post office
Clean kitchen
Work some more on commission
Work on logo
*Had it landed almost anywhere else, it would have been contaminated and I would have had to throw it out. The stuff is very expensive - and the insurance doesn't cover clumsiness.
