Nov. 23rd, 2005 04:26 pmYesterday I saw a Robin. A small blur of red, white and brown, he was gone so fast I thought I'd imagined him. Today he came again and stayed a bit longer. I wanted to take a picture, but he is shy, not like the tits and sparrows who will happily pose for me. I hope he'll be back tomorrow, he's a beautiful little thing and his chest-feathers are so vibrant they look fake, as if he fell into a pot of carmine red.
My uncle B. called today to chit-chat, which was a pleasant surprise. We won't be able to go to Denmark for Christmas because of C's work, but hopefully we can visit in January or February.
Five hours of shopwork so far today. We're beginning to feel the Christmas related shipping delays already, which is a bit of a hassle for us, the customers and Swiss Post.
