Went to the doctor. Had an instant creatinine level test done. Level was half as high as last time! My doctor think the lab made a mistake the first time round. I'm ecstatic! But also grumpy that I went through all the worrying because of a mistake. I just hope that there's not someone out there who thinks his kidneys are fine when they're not.

Since I was already in town for the doctor's appointment, I used the opportunity to run errands. I didn't find any velour paper. The shop that usually has it no longer does - and it is unable to order any for me either. I did, however, find rye flour and whole rye grain, so I'm making a sour dough. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be eating freshly baked rye bread for breakfast Sunday morning!
