About 1 1/2 month ago, I began to notice some slight changes with the Bonesy-boy. At first I thought it was wistful thinking on my part, but I can now confirm that he is getting more and more welbehaved. He's still up to a lot of no-good, but 95% of the times, he hears the "ah-ah" AND obeys. 5 out of 7 days a week, he even lets me sleep in! Groming is also going well and of course he is a cuddly as ever.
He's also grown, a lot. So much that I can't comfortably carry him - the same thing applied to my first Maine Coon, but I'd forgotten how big they actually are.
Apart from him getting hold of half a kilo of seedbeads last week and scattering them all over the floor, it's actually quite stress-free living with him now. All sweetness and light.
Felix has taken on the new role as older-wiser cat. Who would have thought? Felix wise? Well, it appears to be working. There are still lots of things that he cannot figure out, but it's all in the attitude AND he's been giving Jonesy some well-deserved whacks. *grin*
