Jun. 1st, 2006 07:07 amUgh, ate something that disagreed with me and spent half the night in the bathroom and it's post-injection day today. Of course the shop and the kitties wait for no-one. I'm up early, but I'm giving myself the day off to vegetate on the couch and write/paint as soon as I've updated the shop. This usually takes 4-5 hours, so this will give me the whole afternoon.
Anyway, after staggering out of bed. ( Bonesy boy )
My mother-in-law fell yesterday and received a nasty cut to her face. I don't know how bad it is, C is extremely squeamish and was mostly concentrating on not fainting while she talked to him on the phone. From what he's told me, it sounds pretty bad, though. She had to go to the doctor/emergency room. Tomorrow I'll pop down to town and buy a box of chocolate and a card to send to Cyprus.
I made this soup earlier this week, but changed the recipe a bit. I couldn't find red lentils, so used I used regular green ones instead. Also used Malaysian curry powder instead of curry paste, put in just one clove of garlic instead of two, and left out the cumin, because I'm not keen on cumin. C declared it a very tasty success, but says to leave out the sultanas.
