Jun. 24th, 2006 10:53 amI've slept really well these last two nights. Yesterday was draining, though, so I'm feeling a bit flat. Had my first proper sleep in almost two weeks and slept late, got up to go to the dermatologist and then C called to tell me some friends had invited themselves for dinner. The rest of the day flew by with cleaning, dermatologist appointment, shopping and errand trip to Zuerich, more cleaning, a quick shower, some cooking and then entertaining guests until midnight.
The entertaining part was exhausting because I had to speak German, which is good practice, but really tiring because I have to concentrate so much and then I get annoyed with my own baby language. Why is it that I can understand and read German 95% perfectly, but when it comes to speaking I'm a mumbling twit?
Today, I plan on doing the dishes and otherwise be lazy. We went to an art-supply shop in Zuerich yesterday and I was like a kid in a candy store. C thought it was cute and bought me loads of stuff, which I can't wait to try out. :)))
