Jul. 7th, 2008 10:28 amJust came back from the doctor. Apparently when there's no swelling, it's unlikely that there are any broken bones, so it's probably a sprain, and he didn't do an x-ray. On the other hand, sometimes the bone can be broken without any swelling, so I am to use my hand as little as possible, and if the pain doesn't go away within the next days, I have to go for an x-ray.
He did a very good job of locating the offending bone. Ouch! It wasn't around the joints as I thought, but more in the middle of the hand.
And he's an animal lover:
Doc: How did it happen?
Me: I fell over the dog.
Doc: Big dog?
Me: Puppy.
Doc: Oh! Is it okay?
Also had my bloodpressure taken since I haven't had it done since before I moved to Switzerland. 110/82, which according to him is very good.
