Feb. 24th, 2009 11:30 amThink and heavy fog shrouded the yard when Lia and I went out for our morning walk, but apart from the lowered visibility it was a great day for a walk; quiet and dry, but as we walked under the lilacs to get to the field, we were showered by moisture that had condensated on the lilac brances. I turned to look back and it was like watching rain confined to a very small space, complete with the sound of falling droplets.
The same with the blood beech in the garden, which even had water running down its trunk. I've never experienced anything like it. One step onto the lawn and I'm dry. One step under the tree and I'm being soaked.
