...my hand, that is. Went to the doctor again. This time the swelling was down enough for me to do more movements and for him to poke and prod each of my handbones individually. So much tugging, pulling, pressing and me having to do fists etc. and his conclusion is that my hand is not broken.

But yes, it should have healed and be back to normal by now. The average healing time for this sort of injuries is 5 days. The reason why my hand hasn't healed up yet, is that I'm not normal - or that is, I appear to bleed and swell inside my muscles and joints more than other people, which means I have more pain and heal slower than normal when it comes to muscle and joint injuries. This explains the walnut sized swelling Tuesday evening, it also explains why it took months for my left hand to heal when I hurt it in a similar way last year (although not as bad as this time round) and why it took months for my thigh to get back to normal once I fell on the bike and bruised it badly.

It might have something to do with my Avonex, as it is blood-thinning, although the thigh incident happened years before that.

So the good news is no breaks, the bad news is that this is something that will happen every single time, I damage my muscle tissue and joints.
