Began around 20:00 last night, since I caught it sneaking up on me, I immediately took two panadols and hit the tub. Done fast enough, this usually saves my hide - or head, that is. No luck this time, it was a "behind-the-eye" migraine and they are significantly tougher than the others, and I can pop painkillers like candy for all it cares.
So suffered all night until around seven o'clock this morning, where it dulled into a regular headheache, letting me get a bit of sleep. Still have a headache now, plus I'm exhausted and nauseous, and the daylight is just way to bright, but at least I've lost the urge to gouge out my eyeball.
I'm taking the day off and am determined not to feel guilty about it.
