The family stereo types.

Me? One of my labels is being a bad housewife.

So it's not surprising that my cousin collapsed in a heap of giggles yesterday upon hearing that I'm washing the windows and doors outside over a period of days, when she easily does hers in one go.

I will, hands down, admit that even considering that her mother comes to clean her place once a week, she is by far the better housewife of the two of us. Her place is always spotless, mine is rarely so, but in this case, let's do the maths, shall we?

She has:
9 windows
2 doors
1 terrace door

I have:
24* windows of which 10 can only be reached by ladder
5 fly nets
3 doors
1 double french door
1 single french door

DISCLAIMER: I'm not grumpy about it at all, I merely find it intriguing.

*there are 25, but one can only be reached by either crawling onto the roof or bringing the ladder inside the house, so it needs to be significantly dirtier than it is now before I'll do anything about it.

Keeping up momentum during weekends.

Not slowing down completely is probably the way to go, since it might take me 21 days to start a new habit, but it only seems to take me 1 day to revert to an old one. Hah!

So did a bit of housework and went for a 1 1/2 hour walk with Lia this afternoon. To be honest, I had planned for a 45 min. walk, but we took a new route and suddenly the horses on the other side of the road decided that Lia was devil's spawn and became quite agitated. They did calm down a little after a while, becoming more weary/curious, but I decided not to upset them further by walking back along the field on their side of the road.

Tomorrow we'll walk the old route again, since the horses on that route knows us and seem to like Lia.

No writing, no art, apart from helping C set up an "atelier" in the library for his projects. I did manage a couple of reviews, though. Still have 3 reviews to go...or that is; the reviewer I owe 3 reviews only have 2 submissions up. The length of those submissions are longer than my 3 chapters added up, I'm thinking that 2 reviews in return for 3 isn't completely unfair.

Oh yeah, and as you can all probably guess from me taking a long walk today, I forgot to take my injection. Again. It's a good thing that it doesn't have to be right on the dot or I'd be in trouble, which is of course another good reason why not to switch meds. Must.remember.tonight!
