Hairdresser Friday, doctor today, regular cooking for the husband...who snatched my body? And can I get you to up the housework, dog-training, writing and artsy stuff as well?

Anyway, left the doctor's office with a referral to the hospital's x-ray department. Doctor is still convinced hand is not broken, but cannot explain why it's not back to normal yet - in fact, had it been broken, it should still have been back to normal by now.

So, the x-ray is to help identify the problem and to confirm that he did not make a misdiagnosis. And otherwise, we made a list of other possible causes for my hand healing so slowly for him to check out, all of which are just as unlikely as my bones being broken, but he's started to see me as a mystery case and a bit of a challenge, so hopefully he'll find an answer and a cure.
