Looking back, this week has been good. I got a satisfactory amount of work done, the dispute over the semi-precious stone/pearl delivery was settled to both the deliverers and my satisfaction, and we got some very nice orders.

The cakes yesterday were soooo good. I still flinch when I convert the price of one slice of cheese cake from Swiss Francs to Danish Kroner, though. 4.50 Swiss Francs doesn't sound of a lot, but that's over 20 kroner for one slice! For the Amercians reading this, that's about 3.70 dollars.

Plans for today. Call my cousin in Denmark, clean kitchen, review, write and perhaps do a spot of gardening. The terrace is really blooming now, we have dark and light purple lilacs, pink azaleas, wedding veils (sorry don't know the English name), jasmin and some yellow flowers I don't know what is. Besides that there are all the herbs - the oregano is growing like there's no tomorrow.

Wow, that is a lot! But there are places you can buy a slice of pizza for that much here, too.

Oooh, I love lilacs! They're so pretty and they smell so nice! Mine haven't bloomed yet, but they're beginning to come out. I've got gardening on my agenda today too. :)

Actually, that's not a bad price for a slice of cheesecake here in L.A. If you by them in restaurants or bakeries by the slice, they're often closer to $5.
