Jul. 21st, 2005 10:02 amGeneral observations: Did you ever see a Chinese movie with a happy end?
-----------------------------------------
Slept very poorly last night because of the injection and the bedroom being 24 degrees. Way too warm for me despite the ceiling fan. Did have a new variation of the "Disgust Dream", though. The last version of these was the one where we eat someone we know. This one was just slightly less disturbing:
C and I were on Cyprus visiting his dad. For some reason, there are two dead bodies in his bathroom. The one body is relatively fresh and apparently not of importance. The second is bog find (like the Tollund man or the Grauballe man) with the typical black skin and red hair. He's quite well preserved apart from some damage around the mouth and his right shin bones being revealed. For some reason it is my fault that the body is there, and I have to get rid of it. C helps me out by starting to strip all the flesh of the bones (after that we want to sell the skeleton to a Japanese company, saying it is an old school model). He has this sanding machine and while he's sanding away dry flesh from one kneecap, he asks me if the body has any historical value and I reply: "Nah, he's not as old as the others, just about 1300 years".
Then I wake up, shocked at what I am capable of in my dreams and utterly disgusted about the visuals.
-----------------------------------------
The weather is great for washing windows, but right now I'm not feeling that well. I've decided not to go on the bike today and have a "free" day where I can eat as many calories as I burn, which should be around 1500. In fact, the only one active today is Fisen, he's racing around the appartment. I can hear his claws scratching against the floor with each curve he takes. Felix is dozing. :)

Date: 2005-07-21 01:36 pm (UTC):g: I didn't think so.
But I'm pretty sure the end of A Chinese Ghost Story 2 qualifies.
Probably an accident. ;)
I have what I humorously call "the Ultimate Man dreams". At least I used to, in clusters of frequent with gaps between the clusters, and I had one just a week or two ago, which suprised me. Stress, I suspect. They involve many cliche elements of fiction---except no happy ever after and no actually functional relationships.
Enjoy your 'free' day!
