I have cravings for Danish food. Øllebrød ("Beer bread", which is a porridge made of rye bread and beer) and Turkish Pepper sweets (liquorice). I'm just waiting for it to get late enough for me to call my mother and ask her to send me down a package of goodies, including Danish brown sugar (very dark, sticky and with a very rich flavour - perfect for baking and cooking) and a type of Japanese seaweed, which I can't find in Switzerland.

C's art school materials arrived today. I'm very curious to see what they look like, you can be sure that I'll be peeking over his shoulder as he opens the box!

Weight: I think there's something wrong with the scale. This morning it showed 1 kg (!) less than yesterday morning.

There's nothing wrong with the scale!! The scale is good :D
