Feeling a bit blah healthwise. Catching up on commissions. I have reached the stage where the process becomes comfortable and soothing, which means that all I want to do is to sit and draw*. Alas, there are orders to pack, dishes to wash and an apartment to clean. I also need to go to the post office and arrange a time for a hair cut at the hairdresser. I think, I'll ask her (him?) to take off 5-10 cm (don't tell C), which will make it waist length, and will bring C closer to his goal of having longer hair than me, he-he.

*I wonder if the writing process ever becomes comfy and relaxing. Have you ever experienced that? (Jodi, you may answer, but you don't really count. *grin*)

Heh, well it never gets easy, even when you push out a billion words a day. Some days are easier than others... but mostly it's just hard. :)

I don't write as much as Jodi, but even in my most productive period (BC=Before Child), writing was always work. Hard work, good work, but it never worked for me to let my guard down and get comfy. Otherwise, I'd find myself writing things like, "The great and might Thvor raised his Armadillo of Doom and bellowed, 'Jolly good, chaps! Pip-pip, eh! Cheerio and all that.'"

Not good.

Crocheting on the other hand... once I get past the gauging and figuring out the instructions stage, it's just row upon row upon row... *glazes in a comfy, cat-in-the-sun way*
