After many promises to self, much frustration and a pinch of procrastination, I finally finished editing chapter 7 last night! It's still rough around the edges, but its basic shape should be in place.

Otherwise yesterday was fairly unproductive. I did two loads of laundry, cleaned both bathrooms and kitchen, vacuumed and prepared the guest room for P. I did no commission work and didn't work on the shop either.

Right now I'm waiting for P to wake up, so that I can start the tumble dryer. He should be leaving today after breakfast/brunch/lunch, at least he told me he was eager to get back to his apartment in France. In fact he felt like driving right away, but he needed rest. We had a couple of hours to ourselves yesterday before C came home and had a really nice chat, and he's stopped smoking! Good kid!

Dennis is coming to stay from Saturday to Sunday. If it had been anyone other than him, there would have been no overnight stay, but Dennis is really nice having around. He feels at home, makes his own coffee, grabs something to eat when he's hungry, fills the dishwasher and falls asleep in front of the TV. Besides he and C usually hang out doing guys stuff (read: talking about technical gadgets and cars, reading about technical gadgets and cars, playing with technical gadgets and cars), so I have plenty of time to myself. *grin*

Two loads of laundry, both bathroom and kitchen cleaned, and guest room prepared is not, in my book, unproductive. It is not unproducting in the books of anyone I've ever discussed such things with, either.

It just isn't the kind of productive you might have most wanted to accomplish.

Time wise the housework took just a few hours out of a 24 hour day, but you just made me feel much more accomplished! :)

Somehow with housework it isn't the time it takes ---it's just doing it. Housework is so easy to put off until later! It hardly takes any time at all to do a toilet, but who really wants to? Ick!
