I need to do housework - am lazy. C told me just last night that his brother P is coming today and will be staying overnight, so I at least need to prepare the bed in the guest room.

I thought I could outtrick the bird-food thief by putting the nuts (which thief seems to love) in front of my office window, where I can keep an eye on them, instead of in front of the kitchen window. But it turns out that the thief isn't particularly choosy about his meals. He simply stole the fat-birdseed ball that I'd hung up instead. The tactics will have to be upped. Food will only be deposited outside the office where I can keep an eye on it. If he wants to eat my food, I at least want to watch it. I hope he's not a sewer-rat. Can sewer-rats climb to third floor terraces?

Today I did a laundry - or so I thought. After one hour, I noticed that I couldn't hear the machine. I went to check and discovered that I hadn't turned it on. Duh! Of course there was not enough time to run a full program before twelve o'clock, so now I have to wait until three o'clock before starting it. Swiss rules. *sigh*

And now I'm hungry!

Jonesy: *clambers up next to Felix and sinks his teeth in his neck*
M: "Jonesy!"
Jonesy: I'm kissing him! Look! *kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss BITE*
M: "Cut it out" scruffs kitten.
Jonesy: Honest! I'm KISSING him! *kiss kiss kiss kiss*
M: Wanting to believe the best of everyone lets go.
Jonesy: *kiss kiss....Raaaaaoooraaarrr BITE*
M: "Okay that's enough!" Scruffs Jonesy to pull him away.
Jonesy: *holds on to Felix with mouth wiiiide open* BITE BITE BITE BITE!

Jonesy is pulled off Felix who has his eyes firmly shut during the whole ordeal. Felix is not the brightest bead in the bucket and believes that if he can't see something, then it's probably not happening. *grin*
