The swan is widely considered the symbol of poets and musicians. It's a sign of grace and love, but also seduction (Zeus seduces Leda in swan form). White of course stands for purity. I liked the ambiguity of the swan in this connection. White for the purity of the women and seduction for the dandy. As for love - who knows, he might get trapped. :)
