erhmmm should I get another kitten?

Pros:
Jonesy will have a playmate
Felix will get pounced on less
A home should always have a red cat

Cons:
Two cat litters to clean
WILD kitten play in the apartment
Higher cat sitting costs

What do you and C *want* to do?

Well, C cannot get enough cats, he pestered me for Jonesy for three years and beginning of the year he was daydreaming about having ten cats.

I would like another cat and it would be good for both Jonesy and Felix, I think, but I do not welcome the extra cleaning and I know the urge for another cat has a lot to do with me missing Fisen.

I expect you are the one who gets to do the cleaning, too. . . I am repeatedly bemused by how often I am required to feed the dog and brush him, though the agreement was that as G wanted it, he would do the feeding, brushing, and bathing. I have to clean up after the bath, too, which is always a soggy, leafy, twiggy mess.

I can't tell you what to do or what will make all of you happiest. (imo, 10 cats is a health hazard. .. . besides, no one has time to pet 10 cats *and* hold down the job to bring in the cat food. ;) )

Good luck in your decision.

Thanks :)

Ten cats will never happen. Three is definitely the upper limit. I know I can handle three, but the questions is, will I want to?

What is it with men and pets? C pestered me for ages for an aquarium: "I'll feed the fish, I'll clean the tank etc." He did...for the first week and then it was left to me. Needless to say we no longer have fish.

He's pretty good at feeding Jonesy and he'll clean the litter box when asked to, but he's lacking in the "entertain your cat" and grooming department.

I have heard many rumors over the years that men are just like children, and children are notorious in this department for the same behavior.

Just an observation. :)

(It's the 'when asked to' that infuriates me.)

hehe...I'll definitely buy that one.

Yes, you really shouldn't have to ask.

No...the kitties do enough damage to the old, normal couches I care nothing about. I wouldn't dream of leather couches :D

Yup, you're furniture smart. I was stupid enough to buy furniture just taking my two old kitties into consideration.
