Tonight we watched Road to Perdition, stopped the movie halfway so that I could take a shower and then it hit me: Adric's main emotion must be revenge - not struggling to take on responsibility for everyone, which is rather vague in the first place, leading to Adric being rather vague as well. It's typical me only realising this while going through the 4-5th draft. Talk about being daft.
