Apr. 1st, 2006 12:08 pmIt's April 1st. No April fools jokes from me today. I'm still trying to figure out if the giant lemons on Cyprus are a hoax or not. For those reading Danish newspapers, I did catch the one with the sharks and the one with Uffe converting to Islam.
April 1st is also start of the crit marathon, which ends on my birthday. I've decided not to join this year. I want to, but I have to face it - I don't have the time for it this year. I'm already struggling to keep up with my regular crits and these are stories I love. *sigh*
Anyway, yesterday evening was spent reading Swain. I can't begin to say how much I'm enjoying this book second time round. I didn't get nearly half as much out of it when I first read it, but I suppose I needed to reach a certain level as an author and with my manuscript before being able to apply his lessons to my novel.
C's home, so this will be all for now. I'm going to try and drag him to the natural history museum today. Yes, I'm still trying to not work late nights, Saturday half day and Sundays - AND I refuse to feel bad about it!
