The difference between paid LJ accounts and non-paid is that I can go directly to my LJ page from the commenting section of a non-paid account. And now that I've had this little revelation, I'll get on with the journal posting (today I got here from queenoftheskies' page).

I stayed up late last night and was woken in the morning by Jonesy's questioning meows as in "Why aren't you up yet dammit!". So I stumbled out of bed to let in the cats and we spent much time cuddling. Of course Jonesy's head-butts are like a battling ram trying to crash an solid oak gate, so I now have a swollen lip. It was nice, though, with much kneading and purring. Solid rain today, but that doesn't deter the birds, there is a cacophony of shrill whistles and repetitive chirrups outside my window and last night I heard an owl!

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I didn't join the crit marathon, but I've made a small crit goal of my own: 4 reviews a week. I should be able to handle that - at least until the next batch of beads arrive.

It's a little late, but goals for this month are:

10K writing
16 reviews
Commission "peonies"
Commission "Simon"
Commission "Tobias"
Inventory count for shop
Order findings
Order Indian glass beads
Start the gardening work on the terrace

Plus the usual bead shop work, housework and cooking.

I hadn't noticed that about the commenting section. Hmm. I was toying with the idea of going paid as a kind of put-your-money-where-your-mouth-is (after reading some info on how they are considering ads for LJ) and now I have to consider the convenience of my comment-readers as well! Life gets so complicated. :)
