C fell asleep on the couch yesterday. I watched Flogit and Changing Rooms on BBC Prime and then went to revise my overdue submission. Deleted the last three pages of the chapter without a backward glance. Rewrote the entire first section. Then this nasty idea popped up:
How many POVs are too many? I use mainly Adric and Cerne, but I also have POV scenes with Lochar, the bishop and Isha - and probably some more spread throughout the book. Mainly because the scenes seem to work better with those POVs. Now, I'm worrying that it is too much.
I keep on gaining new insights on writing. Fourth draft is not going to be the last tweaking as I had expected it to be. It's going to be a major overhaul.
Cats are sleeping.
