We were active Saturday, weeded the vegetable bed and some pots, went to town to buy plants and now our little garden with chives, raspberries, sage, oregano and thyme has an addition of parsley, tomatoes, coriander, aubergine and strawberries. I also planted some flowers in pots.

I'm jealous. My garden is.... a wasteland. I'll be lucky if I can get the vegetable bed extended and nutrified and prepped for producing bountiful amounts of produce next year.

Aubergine. Is that eggplant?

And strawberries. Mmmm.

Well, actually my garden is just a bed of soil on my terrace. I'd love a real, vast garden with grass and trees. I'm jealous of your house and new kitchen!

Aubergine is eggplant. It's supposed to grow in the greenhouse and I planted it outside, so I'm not even sure it will produce any fruit.

Good luck with the gardening! I'll look forward to reading about your harvest in 2007. :)
