Surreal conversation
Feb. 23rd, 2004 11:21 am"What was that?"
"A sock that fell on the Christmas wrapping paper."
Went to see Cold Mountain yesterday. C didn't like it, I thought it was ok, especially the way it showed various sides of human nature.
Reviewed Ilona's kitten story. Got past the kitten part and found a really good short story behind it.
Did some more revising on chapter 9, will probably finish it today. I've put aside 3 hours for writing and 2 hours for painting today. So the plan is to finish chapter 9, make a clearer outline of Arvingen - I will probably start over with it. Let's see if I can implement the lessons I've learned over the past 2-3 years to a Danish text.
Still need to do the laundry, call my parents and pack the carton for putting out tonight. I'm doomed if I forget. Next pick-up day is end of April. We were away in December and missed the last pick-up day, so the carton has been accumulating since 4th of November. I don't know how the Swiss people live with this garbage system, where you have to save the trash in your appartment until pick-up days (this can get quite smelly in summer, especially when you have two cats). There must be some trick to it that I'm missing.
Cats are playing.
