(no subject)

Neighbour is screaming again: "waaaaaIIIIIIIIIII ARRRRRRRHHHHH". This time I think she kicked something as well (hopefully not the cat!). It's not too bad; only the second blood curdling yell today. Still, I'll be happy the day we can move out of here.

Went to town yesterday, but the shop didn't have the oil pastel tools I was looking for. The girl who worked there suggested that I tried a hobby shop. Surrounded by water colours, oils, pastels, canvasses, brushes, spatulas and what not, I wondered if I wasn't IN a hobby shop? Still, who am I to argue with someones sale's methods?

Of course now the options are to find a "hobby shop", to order online, or to make the tools myself. I'm leaning towards the last option. I can probably work something out with a cotton bud and some cello tape.

OH! Click on the link below to see this article and photo about a land/mountain slide in Norway. The two boulders landed on each side of the house without damaging it (squashed the garage, though). That's just amazing. The owner lives in a retirement home during winter, but uses the house in summer.
