..late night TV. In this case a German program. Guaranteed two calls per minute accepted. Win 30.000 EURO!. So there's a sexy girl shown in the left side of the screen. On the right side is a picture of David Beckham together with 8 photos of smiles. The text underneath says "What matches to Beckham?" There are also a couple of phone-numbers, each calls costs 70 cent.
So there I am, munching rice directly from the pot with a big spoon. I'm pretty sure that smile number four belongs to Mr. Beckham, so I hang around to see if I'm right. Fifteen minutes later after people have called in and guessed every single number (including number two, which obviously belongs to Michael Jackson), one woman starts to realise that several smiles might belong to famous football player - that's when I turned off the TV and went to bed. I found the whole thing very fishy - the text and the way sexy girl was acting was obviously intended to mislead the poor unfortunates who spent 70 cents per call to think that just one smile was the right answer. I understand that two minutes of telephone calls will probably not generate a profit, but that wasn't fair play in my opinion.
And because of all that I forgot to take my injection last night. Must do it now...
