I look around and see little bunches of fluffy fur - the kitties have decided to nap in the office. At times like this I'd like more pets, more fluffy bunches of fur dotting my chairs and work space! Don't tell C, though, he wants another cat and would jump at the opportunity.

Today they'll be fixing the main electricity in the building, this might mean that all the apartments might be shut off for three hours this afternoon. That's three hours without internet, computer, Earl Grey tea... *frets*

C has always insisted that I remind him of Monica from Friends and Carrie from King of Queens* - yesterday he added another TV character to the list...BALDRICK! Luckily not because of the smell, but still...Baldrick?

*Admitted I do like some things to be a certain way just like Monica - and yes, I do see parts of myself in Carrie, although I see more of C in Dough!

Phew...today was busy, which is good, if only every day was like today and yesterday, I'd be able to take a salary! Paid work, I've almost forgotten what that is like.

It took me so long to pack the orders for today that I had to take the bus to town and post them from the main post office by the railway station, the railway station has a Starbuck's. I couldn't resist temptation and bought two espresso brownies and two New York cheese cakes. C is going to looooove me when he comes home from tennis later on. There really is something about the saying that the way to a man's heart goes through his stomach. *grin*

Lots of Americans in town. Everywhere I went there was English spoken with a "twang". I wonder if there some sort of convention. The Animalia is this weekend, but it's quite small and I can't imagine a huge number of Americans crossing the Atlantic for it.
