Jul. 30th, 2005 10:44 amThere's an artist with an easy to recognize style. She sells on E-bay and her art is usually snatched away. She has a live-journal account.
There's another artist who has a style, not identical, but similar to this aforementioned artist. She sells on E-bay. She has a live-journal account, which layout is similar this other artist.
Is it a coincidence? Or did the latter artist choose this style, live-journal and method of selling because of the success of the first artist? I think it's a bit fishy, but am not going to mention any names. In fact, I'm sure this happens a lot, perhaps even more so in the writing world than in the art world.
On another note, chatted with Miquela and
jmeadows on Skype yesterday! It was fun! Jodi played her flute for us, very beautiful. I love listening to the flute.
Today I slept late. Right now I'm just pottering about, trying to wake up, but I really need to do some housework (no news there). I have about two hours before C comes home from work, so there should be time for housework and drawing/writing. *yaaawn* I think a cup of Earl Grey might be in order.
