Aug. 2nd, 2005 07:23 amStumbled out of bed at 6:40 this morning right after C left for work the second time (he came back for this wallet, which he'd forgotten). I didn't sleep well last night, so it's not that I couldn't have slept later, but I'm expecting three different shipments and the postman comes early around here.
Had friends over for the Swiss National Day yesterday. Actually, none of us were Swiss (German, Canadian, Cypriot and Dane), but it was still a perfect opportunity to eat some good food and share a bottle of wine. Friends brought along their eight month old son. Felix was curious, but not too keen on the little human. Fisen let himself be grabbed and petted while I held him, although he was certainly less thrilled than the child by the encounter. Fisen is a good kitty.
I wasn't productive over the extended weekend. I cleaned the apartment, finished a sketch (put clothes on Jodi's characters) and sent out a few work-related E-mails, but that was about it. Of course this means that there's plenty to do today, so I'd better get started!
