Yesterday I went to the bookstore to buy a book in French for Victor. The French section was very small, and I didn't find a suitable book, but I did get one for myself. The French and English book shelves are right next to each other! Later C said that a book was a brilliant idea and why didn't I get one in English for Victor? Well, I would have, had I known that he reads English! So today I went to the bookstore again. Bought a book for Victor and...aehmmm...one for myself. Temptation! Temptation! I cannot resist.

I've looked everywhere. Well, clearly I haven't because otherwise I would have found it, but it feels as if I looked everywhere. I've even tidied the office in my search. My "workbench" has also vanished, although how someone manages to lose a huge piece of plexi-glass puzzles even me. Since I last saw them together, logic dictates that they will be found together, but where???? *sigh*

I am really fond of this pencil sharpener. It's one of those sturdy, round, solid-metal ones (gold coloured), the one that weighs down your hand, saying "quality". It's sharp too - and fits perfectly in my palm. It cuts evenly, no splinters or uneven edges. You know how other pencil-sharpeners will pull out a piece of lead and then you'll have to start sharpening all over again, ending up with a 4 cm long pencil? Not this one. *double sigh*

At least I have a semi-tidy office.

M: "I can't find the plexi-glass sheet."
C: "The plexi-glass sheet?"
M: "Yes..."
C: "The big plexi-glass sheet?"
M: "Yes."
C: Makes large square motions with his hands. "That plexi-glass sheet?"
M: "Yes!"
C: "How can you lose something that big?"
