Woke up at 6:15 this morning because I thought I heard the doorbell. I hadn't of course. It's all a mental thing stemming from the time we lived in the old apartment where Frau J. from upstairs would constantly ring on our door. Snoozed in bed for another hour before getting up. Cuddled all kitties, groomed the boy, biked for 20 minutes while watching a documentary about the brain, feed Murphy, ate breakfast, cleaned litter boxes, scrubbed bathroom walls and tub, cleaned toilet, cleaned bathroom cabinet and cupboard, tidied bedroom and it's not even 10:00 yet. There are advantages to waking up early.

Still have a lot to do, though. Yesterday was a real slacker.

Some good news, I was sure I'd put on weight, but I haven't! It's very weird. Good, but weird.

Observation of the day:
Some cats (Jonesy) will come for the occasional cuddle or let themselves be cuddled by dotty human (me), but are generally too dignified to plomp onto laps.
Some cats are cuddlers and three leg kneaders (Felix) and will sleep on human's lap (women only) for hours and hours on end.
Some cats are convinced non-cuddling is akin to kitty-torture (Murphy), they will not only sleep on human's lap (anyone available) for hours, but insist that they be carried, gazed upon lovingly, stroked, scritched and kissed until they fall asleep...and when they wake up - yup, you got it.

Which type of cat do you have?

Oh...and I'm not-writing, and I'm refusing to fret about not-writing.
