I have a stiff neck from painting the basement ceiling in our future bead storage room. We've emptied out the living room and are preparing to sand down the laquered wooden floor within the next days, following that we'll paint the panelling and the walls before moving in the furniture and finally setting up the TV and stereo. It'll be nice to have a living room. Of course it would be even nicer to have a practical kitchen and a non-icky bathroom, but we'll get to that.
My brain is pretty fried from trying to get my head round all the practical stuff that needs to be organised. I'm beginning to think I need a Mrs. Brown and a personal assistant once I win the Euro Millions Lottery.
Oh and we've insulated the oil furnace in the basement. It looks like R2D2, and I'm constantly expecting it to *blip* at me every time I walk past.
