Conversations with C

M: The farmers took of their shirts and trousers today to work in the field. They got pretty sunburned.
C: Who was it?
M: I think it was Chr. and his brother, but I'm not sure, they were quite far away.
C: Didn't you take your binoculars?
M: No, I did not use my binoculars to look at half-naked men.

Post-injection day

Slept in, cleaned the kitchen, did a bit of gardening, played with the dog and then fell asleep again watching some BBC cooking programme.

I could sleep some more, but to compomsate for my lazy day, I'm cooking. Taking cooking short-cuts though, chicken in the oven with maple syrup glaze, served with rice and for dessert a quick dough rhubarb tart, served warm with creme fraiche.

Still, even with the short-cuts, it makes me feel a little less guilty for all the napping, considering C has been working 12 hours and still isn't over his flu. :p
