Well, darling only because the Danish word "skat" can mean both tax, darling and treasure. The Danish language doesn't have that many words, so you got to make the most of the ones you've got. :p

But back to the taxes. C finally helped me with them today, so now all our documents and calculations are neatly printed out in two copies and one copy will be sent to our accountant tomorrow, and no it was definitely not something I could have done on my own, but I'll give it my best shot next year.

It is such a relief to have this over and done with. I've been fretting about it since March. I'm a control freak and hate being dependant on others for something like this.

Otherwise today was all work. It's 1 am and I just finished packing the last orders that came in this evening so that C can post them for me tomorrow. The long weekend had me completely confused about the weekdays and I forgot to take my injection yesterday, which means I've got to take it now, which means I'll most likely be sick tomorrow and cannot drive to the post office myself. I've tried driving twice on a post-injection day and for the safety of everyone, it's probably better if I stay home and don't operate anything larger than the TV remote control.

I forgot the food, today was also food. Fried eggs and crackers for breakfast, and then we "invented" a cooling strawberry drink/sorbet; frozen strawberries blended with maple syrup, sugar, fresh mint and lemon balm. The first experiment this afternoon turned out so well that we repeated it this evening. No lunch, but dinner was grilled, tender, tasty chevrolet calf steaks (the last of the 1/8 calf we bought from our neighbour) served with spinach, fries and herbal butter. Yum, yum, yum.

Klutz!

This time I did not even fall or the dog or trip, I just fell. The pain in my right hand was so excruciating and kept me on the verge if fainting for hours, so I was certain something had to be broken this time. Of course it wasn't and now I look like a wimp surpreme.

Just came back from the doctor, who said it was the impact that caused the pain, and although he could see that there was more than just muscle damage, it was unlikely that the bones were actually broken. So I wait. 5 days to be exact.

The weird part of this was the falling just like that. One moment I'm walking, the next momet the ground is coming towards me at 100 km/h. I don't think it's the MS, the doctor agreed with me, because MS symptoms don't come and go just like that. So either I had a brief blackout, which is also unlikely, as I've never fainted before, or else I'm just an extreme klutz, which does sound likely. What I don't understand is how someone with such a keen sense of balance as me and good reflexes, can keep falling and banging into stuff?

Apart from the pain, which is now a 7-8 on a scale of 10, this is terribly impractical. I can't type properly or use the mouse properly and I can't shifts gears, so there'll be no driving either.
