May. 10th, 2006 03:47 pmThe day started out well. I got up early (6:45) and started working. So far I've:
Carried two loads of beads up to the apartment
Packed 90 packages of beads
Taken photos of beads
Priced beads
Uploaded new products to shop
Updated shop
Cleaned office
Done one batch of laundry
Watered plants
Of course I forgot to eat and I have a headache. I have a lot more "to dos" on my list, but I'm going to take a break. I think it's time for tea! Twinning's Earl Grey.
Speaking of tea, we breakfasted in a fancy place Sunday (went to an art exhibition after that). The tea (one teabag, one pot of water) cost 7 chf! 7! That's about...hmmm... 4.50 EUR/5.75 USD. It was a good tea, but still. Afterward, we checked the tea prices online to see just how much the fancy place earned per cup. Let's just say that I'm in the wrong business. C says I'm stingy. *lol*
To be honest, I know that the shops and restaurants have to make a living, which is why I paid 7 chf for a cup of tea and 15 chf for a small portion of scrambled egg with three slices of tomato and three slices of mozarella. It's just when I start thinking of how much I would have paid if I ate the same food at home...well...you know...
