Obviously my request for 48-hour days has been denied. Every morning I make a list of to-dos and every evening I find that I've only managed to cross out half the list - and that's on good days.

Since it's clear that there's no way I'm going to cross out the entire list today - unless I turn into Super-May and I'm really too plumb to look good in a spandex/latex outfit, I think it's time for a cuppa and reading my friends' list...and perhaps a piece of freshly baked bread. I've been quite housewifey lately, which reminds me: Our guests Saturday asked if we cooked every day. When we said yes, they looked a bit like fish out of water and said "You don't mostly eat bread with some yoghurt on it?". I know Miq cooks a lot, but what about the rest of you? Are you bread and yoghurt people? Or one home-cooked meal a day people?

Since we get pretty decent lunches at work, I tend to have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner. Helps the budget, and provides one less decision a day that needs to be made.

I used to do that when I was studying and had a good school cafeteria. :)

Why would anyone expect other people to eat the way they do?

Neither G nor I will touch yoghurt, though I used to eat the frozen kind occasionally.

I really don't know, but I've noticed that when it comes to food, what to eat, when to eat, people tend to get quite opinionated. C and I are more eat and let eat kind of people.

In this case I think it was the idea of cooking a meal every day that threw them. :)
