I'm also going shopping today and I have made sneaky plans that when I cook it'll be non-diet*, but also not why-don't-you-just-slap-the-fat-on-your-hips? food.

So, you know, if you need to lose weight, you don't just 'diet'. You change your eating and exercise habits. That's my theory, anyway.

Date: 2006-05-23 04:22 pm (UTC)It's the eat this powder mixed with 2dl of water every day for 6 months eating that I'm against. Or several of C's family have been doing tailor-made diets, which were so specific that every mealtime became extremely complicated.
Actually, I keep my weight pretty steady by not denying myself anything, but eating healthy at the same time. My body seems balanced with the weight I have now, but I'd like to lose 4-5 kgs for summer - swimsuits and all that. And it probably wouldn't kill me to exercise some. :)
