...D and the Americans might be dropping by this weekend. I enjoyed last Sunday, had a good time. I'm just not sure this double weekly socializing is something for me...I mean, I usually go weeks and weeks without seeing anyone else than C and the post office staff. Okay, to be honest...I cleaned the place last Friday-Saturday, because they were supposed to come here, and I'm just not motivated to do it again. Clean bathrooms, clean kitchen, dust, vacuum clean, wash floors...ugh. I particularly dislike scrubbing the tub and vacuuming - oh and dusting the stereo, that's a nightmare. Did anyone say Sissyfos? Yeah, I thought so. Where's my Mrs. Brown?

Was that the day you ended up going out on a jaunt? Maybe they think you're their personal travel service. And since they didn't get to dirty up your place last time . . ..

Well, just do the bathrooms and a quick-pass through to make sure the seating is available. Unless you specifically invited them, you shouldn't have to do a full clean.

There's my twenty cents, for what it's worth with the exchange rates these days. :)

*shudder* i feel your pain. i greatly prefer being a hermit, and cleaning? yeah, cleaning for guests sure doesn't happen often here. i'd rather go without guests than clean any day.
