My first Amazon book has arrived and it's the Swain book, which was sent last! And it's yellow, my favourite colour, which must be a sign...hehe

Am housebound today. A carrier company is coming to pick up a parcel - and typical Swiss, they can't say when they'll come. Just sometime today. Why is that? Why can't the workmen and apparently also the transport companies give an estimate of when they'll arrive? Or at least call half an hour earlier, so that I could jump into the shower? It's possible in Denmark, why is it not possible in Switzerland? My guess is that the high percentage of housewives here has spoiled them. In Denmark where most women work, such a thing would be unthinkable: Nobody would take a day off work to wait for the electrician.

Anyway, I find it annoying. I can't take a shower, I can't go for a walk (and it's brilliant weather today), I had to get up at 6:45 after a night without much sleep...just in case they'd come in the morning. The book couldn't have arrived at a better time. :)

I've realized that The Hunt will not be done after this 3rd draft. The problem will be to find somebody to review the 4th draft. I'm sure everybody's sick of it by now. It'll probably be a matter of trusting my own judgement and try to be objective. As for the final nitpicks (5th draft), I'll ask a friend to go through it for me. Hopefully, he'll accept.

Anyway, don't have time to chit-chat. I have some reading to do!

Cats are sleeping. Put them on Senior Food a week ago - and I think they've put on weight.

I will take you up on that. :) I'd love to return the favour, so let me know if you have something you'd like me to look at.

Am 1/3 into the Swain book. He makes some really good points and I can already see how to use these in my rewrites.
