Do any of the over the counter medicines and lotions help? Like Caladryl lotion? How about some of the anti-itch creams (one of those cortisone thingies)? Can you stand a really heavy moisturizing body lotion (like Curel)? How about an old fashioned herbal remedy for eczema? You should be able to find one (or several recipes online). Some herbal books say that eating more foods containing vitamins A, B complex and C might help too. Or try all of the above to help you make it to the doctor's appointment.
I have a cream from the dermatologist and today I rubbed my scalp with baby oil. I'm also using special soap.
I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, so I should be covered with the vitamins, but I haven't heard of herbal remedies. Will definitely check those out, thanks! :)
