I don't believe it! We forgot our wedding day* again yesterday! The worst part is that I had this nagging feeling when I was congratulating Ilona on hers. I knew there was something about that day.



*The day we held the party, not the day we signed the papers.

We have that distinction, too.

In our case, remembering the party date is better than partying on the actual date, because here people are likely to look at you funny when you celebrate on 9/11.

heh, I can imagine that. C and I have a little bit of the same. We got married on the 9th of November, but since they write it the other way round here, on the paper it's 9/11 as well, which is why we usually say the full day and month when being asked about our wedding day by Americans.
