rimturseThe Swiss...Is is impoliteness? Is is shyness? It's definitely not lack of interest. Today I went to buy presents for my friend's baby. I saw the cutest sweater hanging on the top-rack. Uh-oh...yup, you're right. Short May, tall rack. So I stretch and manage to touch the bottom of the sweater just enough to peek inside it to check the size. Once I've found the right size I look around for a sales assistant - only there are none. There are some other shoppers who seem to be lurking. Okay, I'm in a hurry - no time to look for the assistant. I step onto the bottom shelf (wood, nothing on it), stretching to my full length and standing on tip-toes I can juuuuust reach one sleeve. I tug the sleeve and the sweater slides off the hanger. It is mine! MINE! I turn around and see that I've attracted a small crowd. A crowd of tall* people, who are watching me with avid interest. Not one of them offered to help.
Got the tape off my back today. It's all sticky and itchy-itchy-itchy, but they've scribbled notes all over my skin so I'm still not allowed to shower. I'm definitely allergic to my shampoo, plus a couple of other stuff. Tomorrow I talk to the dermatologist and then hopefully I'll receive some treatment and advice on what to avoid apart from the shampoo.
Tonight we eat pizza! We haven't had it for ages, because we've been trying to eat healthily since we came back from Cyprus. I lost 3 kgs the first weeks, but now my weight seems to have stagnated. The scale hasn't moved for ages. I believe it's because I'm quite close to my ideal weight and probably need to exercise more. That, however, is not going to happen until I can shower again!

Notes scribbled all over your skin? Don't they know they could poison you that way? ("Don't suck on that pencil, you'll poison yourself. . . don't write on your hand with that ink pen, you'll poison yourself. . . don't use the markers on your arm, it won't come off and you'll poison yourself.")
