After a 35 minute wait at the doctor, I got my results from the allergy test. I'm allergic to five different chemicals found in shampoos, perfumes, creams and dark dyes (including dyed clothes), plus nickel. The test made the existing allergy much worse. I look a fright, but I've been armed with special allergy friendly shampoos and creams, and I've gotten some treatment foam and cream to make the eczema go away faster. Not the instant cure I'd been hoping for, but it can only get better now. C has been a gem through the whole thing, not giving a hoot what I look like.

aaaaaaahhh!

But it's good to know, so now you can avoid dark clothing (there goes your villainess look, sorry, and no little black dress for you), and you never have to wash your hair again! :)

It's unfortunate. I guess whatever it is doesn't wash out of clothes, right? Can you wear something darker over a blouse, for instance? Is there a color range that's dangerous such as all shades of black or blue darker than x, or some specific guideline, or do you just have to wear something to find out? And is it all colors, like dark red as well as dark blue or dark brown?

Basically it's everything dark (it includes hair dyes as well), but wearing a blouse underneath something darker should be okay.
